downy milky maturę silver slender branches

carry whispers bringing news to bees and wind

BETULA BETULA bathe me in bark and brim and make me a wonder

I wonder from red to white

tight grain  bright green fine hairs listen to the raindrops

spelling the news and turning watery drips into rustly song

windborne

need no bees but be friend with bees

exchange the news over a dip in betulin

rub ice ice ice on ice ice ice

flourish in this soil

rich leaf litter

draw out evil spirit twiggly twig and laugh at superstitious modesty

aren´t the half-light-lings rather many-light-lings?

draw your lines into the air

a scent whizzzzzzing on bee wings to be carried over to the blueberry bush

to tell the elders underground.

elders, ancestors, lightlings

who are you singing this to?

BETULA BETULA bathe me in bark and brim and make me a wonder

BETULA BETULA
